The soul of Foum Zguid
The Sahara seen through the eyes of the families who have called these dunes home for generations.
Our heritage
Foum Zguid (foum means “mouth”) sits where the Anti-Atlas opens onto the desert. For centuries it was a stop for caravans heading south, and it remains a home of Amazigh and nomadic culture. Our story belongs to these plains: the palm groves, the dry bed of Lake Iriqui, and the high dunes of Erg Chigaga beyond.

Clay, canvas and sand.

Sustainability is our survival
For nomad families the desert isn't scenery, it's life. We follow a strict leave-no-trace rule, and we buy what we can at the Foum Zguid market so the money stays with local farmers and artisans.
